Adventure!
Hahaha okay so today I went out with Sherry and Lucy. Supposed to go swimming with then earlier but I didn't want to swim :(
Lucy told me Sherry couldn't do backstrokes so she kept screaming at her, "Be a corpse be a corpse!" while training her to lie flat on the water. Hahaha. Swimming boot camp for Sherry.
Afterwards I met them for a movie, Woman in Black. Kept thinking that he's Harry instead of the character in the movie. Anyways, it turned out to be a horror/thriller so I kept my ears covered and eyes closed most of the time. Haha WASTE MONEYYY. :(
Then we wanted to go cycle, but Sherry was too tired, so Lucy and I went to cycle all the way from tampines to ecp (got lost halfway lolol), and then walked back home. My legs damn jelly now. It feels great to have a bestfriend live so near you ahaha.
YESTERDAY I MET W THE NUTELLAS. I thought I couldn't, cos I forgot I had cell every Thursday, and dumbly arranged the meeting on thurs night. :'(
After cell when I realize they were still at Nakhon I RAN OK. Flew like a cheetah. Cheetahs do not fly.
Aweeessoommmeee to see these silly girls again. Makes me wanna shrink them and put them in my pocket wherever I go :D

What did I have to lose?
A really good friendship, actually.

How do people just take having to live in a world that's so screwed up? Is maturation really the acceptance of things degrading just because it's practical to just go with the flow?
Every single day children are being born into a world that's grimmer than ever.
Okay today I shall be mature for today and go to sleep. Because it's practical. LOL.
My mom says I'm a selfish person. Working on that. I think I'm a prideful person as well. Working on that.
Feeling plain dumb for organizing an event that I can't even go to in the end. :(((( NUTELLAS I MISS YOU.
But there's this feeling I can't pon cell. Like really, if not something bad will happen. :x
Yesterday I went out with Janjira! Such a cute girl! Hahaha spent a lot of time chatting at macs, found out she's going to the UK to study, and Benjamin got a scholarship to study LAW at CAMBRIDGE. SMARTASS. Not surprised if he's going to be our next prime minister. Spent a lot of time talking about God's direction in our lives too. After that we went to see The Lorax. DAMN NICE HAHAHA. Especially the songs! Really witty. :D
What's that rumbling noise??? So noisy I can't sleep :(((

Dilemma!
I was reading the Brightsparks forums, and i was getting scared because people were rejected outright by NUS with grades similar to mine.
So I went to ask around my facebook friends, those who went to NUS FASS. LOL I've not talked to them for really long, but i guess my fear drove me to be more thickskinned hahaha.
Ying Ling said to still put first choice and write a really convincing appeal in the DA part, and to get referral letters too. ok tmw i'll text mr nathan and miss low.
I dont know why im scared, as if i cant have any other choice of courses and universities.
oh well.
I'll follow where ever the Lord takes me.

Yay!
Hahaha the audition went better than I expected. I was sounding so bad at home, cos everything was too loud and I was trying to make things sound better and .... Okay boring band stuff. Hahaha.
So I went down to SMU SoSS, in a cab, cos I was getting late!! Cab uncle took me to the other side of SMU, so I still had to walk -_-
Inside the waiting room, there were two burly guys, in NS I presume, and the more burly guy played the flute hahaha so funny. Anyways I didn't dare to warm up hahaha scaredycat93
It came to be my turn and I met my
MJC bassoon senior there haha she's 2 years older than me. So it calmed some of my nerves that someone I knew was going to be in the panel of judges. Lol sounds like American idol or sth.
All in all, it turned out fine THANK GOD RLY. Asked me about what course I wanted to major in and all that. :)
TODAY IS AWESOME.

Today, I thought I lost my SGC!! The o level one. My mom asked me where it was, and I thought she was referring to the result slip -__- I totally forgot that we were given a blue folder thing with everything inside.
Got an earful from the mother and quickly packed my room (which was a total pigsty).
I'm going to be a much neater person from now on! :)
Stop laughing. >:( I'm serious. :)

The White Burden
Kony Kony Kony.
I really think people should go read up more about Uganda, and try putting things into context. And then start supporting. I'm not saying that we shouldn't stop Kony, but I don't like the idea of people supporting and buying things sold by an organization they know little of.
Saying all that, I guess that they're one of the few organizations that have managed to spread awareness really extensively. Now that they've managed to turn the world against this lowlife, I think thinks will get much better in Uganda.
I also think that if I were there, to witness the atrocities, I'd be wanting to storm into his tent and kill him, guns blazing.
Why do people of political stature need enough support to do something? Why can't people just do something to help? Why is there even red tape and constraints when people desperately need help?
I guess then people would call for a one world government. That's bad, of course. But it's gonna happen really soon.
Boring things aside, I saw a BBC tweet about what female journalists should take heed of in the front lines. Super cool leh. :)

Hello Blogger my name is Lynette.
I was bored so I decided to create a blog. Hahaha, wu liao.
Just finished sending my SMU application and the Diversity Programme thing. LOL Die, practicing one day before the audition DOES NOT BODE WELL FOR ME. ZZZ.
Okay damn tired this afternoon when i got back, KO'd for 3 straight hours, and woke up feeling a little under the weather so didnt go for cell group today. Such a nice bunch of people. But im still awkward. =( sucks to be a horribly awkward person.
okay so Wednesday i met Lucy to go over to MX's house, to put down our stuff before we headed to USS. had to wait for this horribly late girl, Sherry Ang Xue Ying for 1+ hour okay. Hahaha, the USS trip was packed with fun (adrenaline junkie here), although it was kind of an impromtu thing. Had sakae buffet, where Leah joined us and the we went to Udders! ICE CREEEAMMMMM. We celebrated Ryan's coming enlistment and we were all laughing like drunkards while walking to ryan's house from udders. Even the taxi driver thought we were drunk in the cab on the way to MX's house. LOL. We were talking to him about homos and trannies in the cab HAHA. I dont have pictures so too bad.
Hahaha okay this week has been fantastic, given that my boss let me quit on tuesday even though i only told him on monday. I hope tomorrow will be even better! Cos I'm going out to eat with Mabe WHEEE!
